Sessions are structured around the amount of time we’re together — additional time gives us more opportunities for variety, locations and images. If you’re considering multiple outfit changes, extending your session can help us fully capture each look.

I offer this as an option because sometimes we all want to celebrate the senior’s accomplishments together. We’ll typically spend about half of your session time focused on the senior individually, and use the remaining time to capture other portraits.

$25 for each additional person being photographed with the senior. if the additional people/friends want their own individual photos taken, please see "the senior crew" sessions information below

Senior Crew Sessions are designed for groups who want to capture this season together—while still getting beautiful, individual portraits.

Pricing per hour:
• $450 per senior (for 2 seniors)
• $425 per senior (for groups of 3 or more)

We’ll capture each senior individually, along with some fun, natural shots together. Sharing the session keeps things relaxed and enjoyable, while still making sure everyone walks away with a great variety of images.

will you help us choose the perfect location?

Yes! We will talk through what you are envisioning for your session and collectively find the perfect spot.

do you have the permits we will need to shoot within a california state park? like the beach or big sur?

Yes I do. If your session is taking place within the California State Park system, photographers are required to carry a valid permit and may be asked to present it by a state ranger. I have personally seen sessions stopped or canceled due to lack of proper documentation, which is why I always ensure I have the necessary permits in place for approved locations. There is no charge to you for the permit.

what makes you unique as a portrait photographer?

I’ve photographed hundreds of portrait sessions throughout the Monterey Peninsula. I always work with an assistant, which allows me to stay efficient and intentional with my lighting setup. Using professional portable strobes, I’m able to create beautiful, flattering images in full sun, heavy fog, or anything in between. Be sure to view the Before & After section to see exactly what I mean.

can our family also take portraits with the senior as well?

Absolutely — including family in part of the session is such a fantastic idea. These are milestone moments not just for the senior, but for everyone who has supported them along the way.

If you’d like to have parents or siblings jump in for a few portraits, we simply dedicate a portion of your session time to those images. Each additional person photographed with the senior is just $25 — an easy way to capture a few meaningful family portraits while we’re celebrating this big accomplishment.

how quickly will we receive our images?

Your images will be delivered within 2–3 weeks. The individual who signed the contract will receive a private online gallery where they can download the high-resolution images, along with a personal print release to print wherever and whenever they wish. The gallery can also be easily shared with friends and family.

do you offer printing discounts?

Yes, you will receive a discount of 50% off of all items for up to one month, that can be purchased directly from your online gallery to include: prints, wall art, thank you cards, senior announcements, ornaments and more. You will also receive 30% off all albums.

how many pictures will we receive?

Up to 100-/120 images per hour of shooting, sometimes many more.

can we bring props or other items?

I absolutely love when seniors bring items that reflect who they truly are — it makes their session so personal and meaningful. Musical instruments, sports gear, college pennants, logo’d sweatshirts — all of it adds personality and tells their story.

One of my favorite sessions was when the entire family showed up wearing gear from the college the senior was headed to — it was so fun and full of pride! I’ve also done amazing sessions on golf courses and other locations that feel authentic to the senior.

What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Coastal sessions can sometimes be unpredictable due to last-minute weather changes. That said, I’ve very rarely had to postpone a session because of rain. Fog and overcast conditions are absolutely workable — and often beautiful for portraits. If rain is in the forecast, we typically make the final decision just a few hours beforehand by closely watching the radar, and we can reschedule if needed.

The elements—like sun, wind, and even humidity—can affect your final images and may emphasize small imperfections such as shine, uneven skin tones, or stray hairs.

After photographing people for over 20 years, one thing I’ve consistently noticed is how much even skin tone and polished styling can elevate your portraits.
